Best PPC Agencies in the UK

Introduction

PPC agencies in the UK plan, build and manage pay-per-click advertising on behalf of a business, most often on Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, increasingly alongside Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn. You pay a management fee on top of the ad spend, and in return a team writes the ads, structures the account, sets the bids and, if they are any good, checks the account every week to find out what the last week's spend actually bought.

That last part is where the UK PPC agencies on this list differ most. Every agency here can build a Google Ads account well. The differences show up in month four: who is reviewing search terms, bids, creative and landing pages each week, and what number they are reviewing them against. Most of the UK brands we talk to about attribution have the same problem in their paid search account: plenty of spend, a conversion the agency optimises towards, and no clear line from either to revenue. An agency can be very good at Google Ads and still be steering by the wrong number. So when people ask us which UK PPC agencies are worth a call, we look for a team that manages the account week by week rather than setting it up and leaving it, and one that treats conversion tracking as part of the job rather than an add-on.

This comparison is built that way. Snowball Creations comes first for its specialist focus on SaaS, B2B and homeware brands and its test-then-scale weekly management model. After it come nine smaller UK agencies you may not have heard of, from Colchester to Glasgow, each with a real speciality and most of them considerably cheaper. We have also included Able CDP, which is not an agency at all: it is the option for brands that create and manage their own ads and only need the data side handled, with server-side conversion tracking and revenue reporting they can trust. Facts and prices were read from each agency's own website in September and October 2026 and will move, so check before you sign.

Key things to compare when choosing a PPC agency in the UK:

  1. Specialism and client fit. A SaaS company selling a £400-a-month subscription, a furniture brand selling £2,000 sofas and a plumber in Colchester need different agencies. Ask to see case studies from businesses shaped like yours, with numbers attached, and prefer an agency that optimises towards paid sign-ups, pipeline or purchases rather than form fills if that is what you sell.
  2. Management model after launch. Setup is a fraction of the job. Find out how often the account is actively reviewed (weekly is the standard the better agencies hold themselves to), who does that work, and whether the agency keeps its people, since an account's history lives in someone's head.
  3. Pricing and terms. On this list alone, management fees run from £185 a month at the small end to £4,225 a month for a 65-hour retainer, and the specialist at the top starts at £1,749 per platform. Ad spend is always on top. Look for a fixed fee rather than a percentage of spend, and check the minimum term: three months is common, six is not unusual, and a few agencies work on rolling monthly contracts.
  4. Partner status. A Google Partner badge shows certified staff and minimum spend and performance thresholds; Google Premier Partner status goes to roughly the top 3% of participating agencies in a country each year. It is a signal of scale and competence, not a guarantee of results in your account, and some excellent small agencies do not bother with it.
  5. Platform coverage. Google-only specialists go deep but leave Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok to someone else; full-service agencies cover everything but may have only a handful of paid media staff inside a larger team. Match the coverage to where your customers actually are.
  6. Conversion tracking and attribution. Agree what the agency will optimise towards before the first campaign goes live, and make sure that number is one you can trace to revenue. Ask whether they set up server-side tracking, offline or back-end conversions and revenue reporting, or whether they expect you to bring the data. The best agencies treat this as part of the build; a DIY tool such as Able CDP covers it for brands that keep the ads in-house.
  7. Independent reviews. Google Business ratings, Trustpilot and Clutch reviews are thin for most small UK agencies, so weigh the few that exist, and treat on-site star ratings with no source as marketing.

In this comparison made by our digital marketing experts, we examine the top PPC agencies in the UK, highlighting each one's strengths, limitations, pricing and the kind of business it suits best.

Snowball Creations

PriceFrom £1,749 per platform per month plus ad spend (minimum £2,500/month per platform); 3-month commitment, then 1 month’s rolling notice
ChannelsGoogle Ads, Meta, Microsoft, LinkedIn, TikTok, Amazon; in-house creative studio
Key featuresSaaS, B2B and homeware specialist; two-stage test-then-scale method; weekly lever checks via Snowball OS dashboard; conversion tracking set up as part of the build; London, south coast and Cape Town team

Snowball Creations is a UK paid ads agency built around two kinds of client: founder-led SaaS and B2B companies, and homeware and furniture ecommerce brands. Founder Max Sinclair has run it since 2017 and still leads the London and south coast team, with the creative studio (Snowball Studios) and marketing team in Cape Town. It manages Google, Meta, Microsoft, LinkedIn, TikTok and Amazon ads, and the method is the reason it tops this list. An engagement runs in two stages: finding the fit, a wide set of A/B tests across targeting, messaging and creative to show which roads lead to the biggest uptick; then scaling the spend, with about 80% of budget behind the winners and 20% into new tests. Setup, the team argues, is a fraction of the job; the weekly lever checks are where the money is made, and its in-house Snowball OS runs 27 of them weekly, monthly and quarterly against a daily-updated live dashboard. Conversion tracking, including Google Analytics and Google Ads setup and offline conversions, is part of the build rather than an add-on, which is the detail an attribution-minded reader will care about most.

The case studies have numbers attached, which is rarer than it should be. Tom Raffield, a furniture and lighting brand, now has Google Ads as its primary acquisition channel, with over £3m in sales from £544k of spend at a 5.5x ROAS since 2020; Join It, a membership SaaS, saw cost per purchase fall from $2,605 to $1,475 in year one and reported "the best month of growth in the 10 years the company has been running". Across the client base, Snowball reports clients averaging 5.1x ROAS over the previous four months of ad spend with agency fees included, a figure it updates monthly. The homepage says it is trusted by 100+ 7-figure-plus brands, and it holds a 5.0 rating from ten reviews on Clutch. Terms are clear: a three-month commitment, then one month's rolling notice, with fees from £1,749 per platform per month and a minimum ad spend of £2,500 a month per platform.

Snowball Creations is our featured pick for 7-figure-plus SaaS, B2B and homeware brands that want a specialist PPC partner checking the account every week rather than a generalist. For readers whose business is shaped like its clients, it is the first call on this list. Brands that keep their ads in-house and only need the data side solved will find Able CDP further down the page does the tracking job Snowball builds for its clients, without the retainer.

Able CDP

Price$49/month ($145/month with conversions API integrations) for up to 300,000 processed events per month, $5 for each additional 100,000 events above first 500,000 events tracked; no revenue-based cap or fees
Sends conversions to ad platformsYes, attributed to the original click ids. Supports Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok and Pinterest
ChannelsWeb, call tracking (using CallRail and similar third-party products), mobile app tracking (requires custom integration)
RoAS reportingBuilt-in revenue attribution reporting, reporting via ad platforms’ conversions APIs, custom reporting using third-party BI platforms via BigQuery data warehouse
Cookieless trackingNative cookieless tracking of single-page applications and third-party checkouts like Stripe payment links; cookieless attribution of offline conversions based on previously tracked lead sources
Data exportReal-time BigQuery events export; manual reports export to CSV
Key featuresServer-side tracking, ad tracking and marketing attribution

Able CDP is not an agency. It is the DIY option on this list for brands that create and manage their own ads and just need reliable data behind them: a customer data platform that tracks every visitor from the first ad click, through sign-up, trial or checkout, to the revenue that lands in Stripe, Shopify, Chargebee or your CRM, and attributes that revenue back to the campaign, ad and keyword that produced it. Its server-side tracking captures conversions on the server rather than in a browser pixel that ad blockers and Safari steadily erode, and then sends the real conversions, with the original click IDs attached, back to Google Ads, Meta, TikTok and Pinterest through their conversions APIs, so the platforms' bidding optimises towards paying customers instead of form fills. Reporting is built in, with ROAS by channel and campaign, revenue and customer journey views, and real-time export to BigQuery for anyone who wants their own dashboards.

What makes Able unusually suited to a company running its own PPC is that it does the part of the agency's job most in-house teams get wrong, and does it for a flat $49 to $145 a month rather than a retainer. Conversion tracking is set up once, without developers, and keeps working across single-page apps, third-party checkouts and offline or delayed conversions such as a subscription that starts weeks after the click. Able's MCP server then connects that attribution data to Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP-capable assistant, so you can ask in plain English what revenue last month's Google Ads spend produced, which UTM sources bring the leads that close, or who your highest-lifetime-value customers are and where they came from, and get a chart or a CSV back without building a report. For a founder or a one-person marketing team, that replaces the weekly reporting call an agency would otherwise bill for.

Able CDP is the right choice for brands that want to keep the ads in-house, or that work with a freelancer rather than a full agency, and need the tracking and reporting layer an agency such as Snowball Creations would otherwise build for them. It also pairs well with any agency on this page: ClickBoost, The Good Marketer or Tillison can run the account while Able makes sure the conversions they optimise towards are the ones that turn into revenue, and gives you an independent view of their results. Whichever way you go, agree the number the account will be optimised towards before the first campaign goes live, and make sure it is one you can trace to sales.
