Why do Kajabi and TikTok Need to Be Connected?

  1. Missing conversions to purchases as many Kajabi purchases are made after sign-up and tracking cookies set by TikTok are not available at that point.
  2. Even when purchases are made entirely online, it's not uncommon for a portion of sales made through TikTok ads to be unattributable to campaigns. This is due to users using multiple devices, ad blocker plugins, and client-side tracking generally not being reliable.
  3. IOS traffic lacks click identifiers. Sending conversions to TikTok Events API including device identifiers and customer match parameters solves IOS reporting problems by sending more data, allowing it to model conversions from anonymized IOS clicks.

4 Steps to Connect Kajabi with TikTok by Using Able

Step 1. Sign up for a free account

Step 2. Install Able tracking code on the website

After signing up for a free account, Able CDP will prompt you to add code to your website.

This tracking code will record ad click ids and details of the original landing page visit, as well as lead form submissions, allowing to attribute customers to website visitors. Able CDP uses its tracking to capture UTM parameters, referrer URL and landing page URL, store them in its own attribution database together with the personal identifiers such as email or phone, entered by customer in lead and order forms, allowing it to associate all future customer activity with the original website visitor source.

Add lead form URLs to the HTML Forms Tracking section to let Able automatically recognize the sign-up and lead forms you're using. Any standard lead form widgets that we could detect during the account setup will appear in the Dynamic Lead Forms Tracking section.

Press "Generate" in the Get Code section to generate a unique tracking code to add to your site.

Able CDP page view tracking doesn't install its own cookies and relies on third-party identifiers such as Google Analytics Client Id to connect customer activity between website pages. Please enable cross-domain measurement in Google Analytics if your landing and lead/order pages are hosted on different domains.

Step 3. In the Funnel tab, click add service integration to select which platforms you want to integrate with

Step 4. Connect Able to Kajabi

To track customer details and associate Kajabi customers with the visitor details, install tracking code generated using the "Code" section in Formsable dashboard. This code will track Kajabi form submissions.

To set up sending of completed purchases from Kajabi to Able, add the following Purchase Webhook URL in Kajabi settings under Settings - Checkout:

where %%FUNNEL_MARK%% - unique identifier of your funnel.

Able will now receive webhooks from Kajabi, automatically attributing Purchases to Visitors by customer emails and phones and sending Purchase conversions with detailed Invoice Lines where supported.

Note. Kajabi webhook for the Purchase events doesn't include the Purchase details. Able overcomes this limitation by including a workaround that captures the amount when a purchase started as an InitiateCheckout event and applying purchase details from it when the purchase is completed on the Kajabi back-end. If Able Customer history doesn't contain InitiateCheckouts events, please verify that the visitor tracking code has been generated using the "Code" tab in the Able CDP dashboard is displayed on pages with Kajabi order forms.

Step 5. Connect Able to TikTok

Able supports sending of conversions to TikTok events API. In addition to the TikTok click id, Able sends all customer information such as email, phone and browser details, allowing TikTok to recognize and attribute maximum number of conversions.

1. First, Set up ttclid

  1. Tiktok Click IDs or ttclid are tracking parameters that are attached to your ad's landing page URLs. When a Tiktok user clicks on an ad and land on your website, a unique ttclid is created and appended to the URL. Tiktok Click IDs helps you to match users and attribute event to your TikTok ads accurately. It is strongly encouraged to set up ttclid to improve your ads performance.
  2. Step 1: Append the CLICKID macro to campaign URL
  3. Add ttclid=__CLICKID__ to the end of your url and insert it in the Ad Group-> Ad Details-> URL in TikTok Ads Manager

2. Generate an Access Token

The TikTok Ads Manager account Admin or Operator can generate an access token directly under the pixel Settings tab.

Steps:

  1. In TikTok Ads Manager, navigate to Assets > Events, and click Manage in the Web Events section.
  2. Find the pixel object that you want to use for reporting events, and click its name to view its settings. If you need to create a new pixel object, remember to select Manually install pixel code and Developer Mode.
  3. In the Settings tab, click Generate Access Token. The token will be generated immediately. You can then copy the access token and save it in Able:

3. Enable Outbound Integration With TikTok

Select event to send to TikTok and enter the Pixel ID that should be used with this event. You could find the Pixel ID by logging in your TikTok ads manager account and navigate to Assets->Event->Website Pixel. Copy the ID displayed.
